We offer Christ-centered, restorative retreats that create intentional spaces to unplug from daily pressures, build resilience through guided off-road adventure, share meaningful fellowship, and experience renewal of body/mind/spirit.

Our retreats are designed to be accessible to everyone with no off-road vehicle or camping gear required. we provide fully built, trail-ready rigs for participants to ride in, along with most of the essential camping equipment you'll need for the experience.
Whether you're brand new to off-roading or just want to show up and enjoy the adventure without the hassle of preparation, we've got you covered. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn, explore, and be part of an unforgettable experience.
Kevin Simpson has spent more than 22 years rock crawling the Sierra Nevada, building off-road rigs and sharing his passion for the trails with others. For him, off-roading has always been about more than obstacles—it creates space to unplug, slow down, and build authentic connection. Seeing the heavy burdens carried by pastors and military veterans, Kevin founded Granite and Gears Offroad Retreats to offer restorative, Christ-centered experiences that combine guided adventure, fellowship, and renewal for those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
